Polish courts – an insight into the worrying state of things

In a new report, put out jointly as a preview by the Stefan Batory Foundation and the European Stability Initiative, report authors Piotr Buras, John Dalhuisen, Gerald Knaus, and Magdalena Milenkovska, provide a very accessible and informative update on where things stand with the court system in Poland.

It is particularly helpful for those of us who are not as familiar with the intricacies of the approach used in Poland’s judicial system, but trying to make sense of how this relates to worrying developments for the rule of law and democracy around the world.
