The International Forum for Democratic Studies at the National Endowment for Democracy presents Martin Krygier (a Chief Investigator for our project) in an afternoon seminar entitled Rule of law the key to renovating democracy, countering illiberal forces.
Martin “will critique existing ways of thinking about the rule of law and offer alternative frameworks. He will also explore how adapting our intellectual approach might improve the global community’s ability both to promote the rule of law and to defend it against the global efflorescence of populist and authoritarian enemies. Journal of Democracy Editor Marc F. Plattner will moderate the discussion.”
